David L. Gibberman
State and local taxation has become such an important and complex issue that many individuals specialize in the subject. Almost every tax question requires an analysis not only of federal tax laws but also of state and local government tax laws.
By obtaining an understanding of the issues involved in state and local tax law and the resources about such laws that are available to you, you will know when you need to research state and local tax law and when you will need to obtain the aid of a specialist.
This course covers information about states whose tax laws may apply, multistate tax agreements, state tax statutes, administrative and judicial interpretations of state and local tax laws, as well as other relevant issues.
