1120S Preparation and Planning 1: Tax Fundamentals

The first course in this series will introduce you to Form 1120S, which is used to list items of income, deductions, credits, and other items from the operation of an S Corporation. The role of the preparer, filing requirements, due dates and extensions are also explained.

The second part of this course gives detailed instructions on how to accurately complete the top of page 1 on Form 1120S. An overview of the tax year and accounting methods for S Corporations is provided.

New developments are noted throughout the course.
