Agricultural Taxation: Deductions (Second Edition)

This course covers deductions for agricultural entities in depth, as well as providing guidance for reporting. It also contains tax planning tips that will benefit tax practitioners with farming or ranching clients. Depreciation, amortization, and depletion are not covered in this course.

  • Identify deductions that are unique to agricultural operations
  • Explain how and where to report these items on Form 1040, Schedule F and other schedules
  • Analyze and be able to take advantage of, various elections applicable to deductions allowed agricultural entities
